Deltabadger Cloud

2026 is the new opening for the service. It's a brand new Deltabadger that needs a small introduction.

Open-Source

The app is now open-source. Yes, after building it for the last six years together with many great developers, I decided to release the code. The original trigger was MiCA regulations that effectively killed the SaaS model for the product. Offering dollar-cost averaging as a service means "participating in users' transactions" which requires an expensive CASP license, KYC, and more. So, the app is now free.

I'd be lying saying I'm not enjoying the open-source part of it. The only reason why it didn't happen earlier was my lack of resources, or a good idea how to do it without sabotaging the business. Open-source is not only close to my heart, but also to the Bitcoin mission that inspired the project.

However, after a month of a break, the service is back better and stronger than ever before. How?

The Cloud

Deltabadger is now an official hosting for the open-source app. Each user runs a separate server managing their keys and trading on their own, and we simply provide reliable infrastructure to run it. That way, we're not participating in transactions, while for you that means new benefits:

Multiple accounts – Since you run a separate server you can create many accounts for your business, family and whoever you want. I don't recommend making your server public though. Its URL is private which is part of the security model. It's not searchable by hackers and bots. Keep it that way.

Security — Yes, only you know its address which adds another layer of comfort.

Control your data - When you delete your instance, it's instantly gone. Everything.

SMTP server and Market Data - Compared to running it on your own, we offer you integrated email server for your notifications, and our data API that replaces the need to open a Coingecko account the free app requires.

That said, the app itself opens the year with multiple new features: six new exchanges, index portfolios, and soon automatic withdrawals. The future is bright.

The Future

When I started, I saw Deltabadger as a voice against broken monetary policy, and essentially an easily accessible way to build your hedge against it. Six years later, while this is still real, I see something bigger. There is a gap between those who still think AI is a "chat" and those who start to experience the disruption. I can't unsee what I saw doing alone the work of a 7-10 person team.

This may sound radical to you, but we're likely hitting the end of capitalism as we know it. I expect all traditional white-collar jobs to be mostly gone in the next 5-10 years, with blue-collar lagging only a bit. AI and robots will automate all repetitive tasks. At the beginning of 2026, that's already obvious. It will likely lead to a completely new system that some people will describe using positive language like "age of abundance" and "scifi utopia," while others may call it "communism."

One thing is certain, while it's true that we may reach a point where nobody is hungry, especially as Europeans we see that constantly growing nanny state is not free. If you want to maintain your freedom and independence, having capital will still matter. Not only is Bitcoin the hard asset ready to maintain value in the future, but it's also the only currency that AI robots can easily operate with out of the box. DCA into Bitcoin still remains the answer.

At this point, Deltabadger is just part of my life. I will continue working on it and no matter if you run it yourself or use the hosting, I'm always here to help. Send an email, or join our Telegram.
